Liverpool targets Barcelona star for 70 million euros
The report reveals that Liverpool is considering signing Barcelona defender Jules Koundé, whose role in the team has diminished despite the former Sevilla star transferring to Barcelona for €50 million in 2022. The deal's estimated value could reach around €70 million, although no official negotiations have taken place yet. Koundé, whose contract runs until 2030, has become a secondary player at Barcelona under the management of Hans Flick, making a transfer likely. Liverpool is aiming to strengthen its defense, especially after some defenders have been unavailable, and is also monitoring other clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City, with the possibility that Koundé might consider a change of environment in January, despite having rejected Liverpool’s offer so far.
