Mourinho Considers Position Changes
Real Madrid coach José Mourinho is seeking to capitalize on his players' versatile abilities by adjusting their positions to enhance the team's performance. He experimented with moving Federico Valverde to right-back to boost the attack without compromising the defense, and this change succeeded in the match against Villarreal. The coach is also considering using Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield to improve distribution and playmaking, especially given the absences and injuries in the defensive lines, believing that he can provide the team with greater stability. Additionally, Aurélien Tchouaméni is viewed as a potential alternative in central defense, while Arda Güler is expected to play in a deeper midfield role to utilize his passing and movement skills between the lines, thereby strengthening the team's offensive and defensive balance.
