Mullen Confirms Dubai Race Entry
The Dubai Racing Club announced the return of British jockey Richard Mullen to participate in the Dubai Racing Carnival, which begins on November 6th. This comes after his recovery from serious injuries he sustained over the past two years, including fractures in his wrist, ankle, and thumb, a dislocated elbow, and torn ligaments, all of which required multiple surgeries. Mullen, who is 50 years old, achieved 28 wins last season, including a victory in a Group One race. He has been participating in Dubai races since 2000. Continuing his career for 28 seasons, he remains enthusiastic despite his age, expressing pride in his journey in the UAE and commendation for Meydan Racecourse and its facilities, considering them among the best in the world.
