Al-Ahli Achieves Major Victory Again
Al-Ahli's first football team won 3-1 against Al Wasl in Dubai in the AFC Champions League. This is the biggest victory for Al-Ahli on Emirati grounds in the competition in terms of goals scored, with players Roger Ibañez, Francesco Trincão, and Feras Albrikan scoring for the team, while Pedro Malero scored for the home team. This win marks Al-Ahli's ninth victory on Emirati soil in the Champions League, coming more than nine years after they drew 3-1 with the same team in 2017, when they advanced to the quarter-finals. Al-Ahli is currently participating in the group stage after a draw in the previous round with Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor.
