Howe Takes Blame for Inter Collapse and Lautaro Surprise
Inter Milan coach Christian Kivu took full responsibility for the team's surprise defeat against Club Brugge (4-3) in the Champions League, considering that there was a problem in the last 30 minutes of the match that led to the loss despite a good performance at the start. He explained that the team was missing star player Lautaro Martinez until the end of the international break in November due to injury, which will keep him out of the upcoming Milan derby. He also pointed out that the team needs to develop its mentality and take responsibility, focusing on restoring confidence and organizing the defensive performance after conceding 8 goals in 6 Serie A matches and 6 goals in 2 Champions League games. He emphasized that their defeat cannot be turned into a drama, especially given high expectations. Inter are preparing to face Bologna in Serie A after their European setback, and the coach calls for a strong reaction and unified efforts to achieve future ambitions.
