Mariska praises Manchester City's Banana Revolution
A report has revealed that Manchester City fans are bringing back the inflatable bananas to the Etihad Stadium as a symbol of loyalty and as a humorous response to the financial misconduct allegations facing the club. The fans ordered around 11,000 inflatable bananas, aiming to create a special atmosphere during the match against Ipswich Town, amidst rising controversy over accusations that the club used fake contracts to illegally boost revenue by approximately 830 million pounds between 2009 and 2018. This action marks a nostalgic return of the banana craze from the 1980s and 1990s and serves as a symbolic protest against media pressures and criticism.
