«Tembet» awards Jodulfine Everest title
Godolphin team achieved a historic milestone by winning their filly "Tempted" the Grade One "The Everest" race at Randwick Racecourse in Australia. This marked the team’s first victory in this race, which is one of the richest horse races in the region. The four-year-old "Tempted" triumphed over the strongest competitor, "Kayanan Rising," who was undefeated in 21 consecutive races. His high rating initially posed a challenge, but she managed to climb to the front and win by less than a quarter of a length, delivering a remarkable performance under jockey Shad Scafield and trainer Kieran Maher. This victory stands as one of Godolphin’s most significant achievements in "The Everest," especially after their previous horses had failed to secure this title.
