Portugal fines Ronaldo €255
The Portuguese Football Federation imposed a 30-day suspension and a fine of 255 euros on Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving the national team camp without permission during the recent international break. The decision came after an investigation into the violation, during which Ronaldo broke the team's internal regulations by sending a message to the national team coach expressing his readiness to accept the punishment after a dispute that led him to leave the camp before it ended. It is expected that the suspension will allow Ronaldo the opportunity to rejoin the national team during the next international break, after the suspension period ends, according to coach Jorge Jesus's decision and Ronaldo's own stance.
