Ronaldo faces severe sanctions after camp incident
The Portuguese Football Federation imposed a penalty on star Cristiano Ronaldo after he left the national team camp in Denmark on September 30. The committee decided to suspend him for 30 days and fined him just 255 euros, following a deliberate disciplinary violation. Despite the punishment, he will be able to participate in his team's matches against Denmark and Wales in November, as the suspension began at the time he left the camp. This came after a disagreement with coach Jorge Jesus over "broken promises." This action is considered one of the lesser penalties compared to what he could have faced and confirms that the matter involves a clear disciplinary breach.
