Al-Mousa family reaches 353 days of absence
Saad Al Musa, defender of Al Ittihad, returned to the main lineup after an absence of 353 days due to an injury involving a broken ankle that required surgery in London and a long recovery and rehabilitation program. He participated in the match against Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League at the latter's stadium in Dammam. His last appearance was in November 2025, before suffering the injury. His inclusion in the starting eleven was to replace the Serbian defender Carlo Simic, as part of five changes made by the German coach Jens Fissing. Al Ittihad currently ranks fifth with 17 points from 8 matches, while Al Ettifaq is in seventh place with 15 points.
