Milan backs Udinese boycott
AC Milan Expresses Support for Fans Planning to Boycott Upcoming Match Against Udinese Due to High Prices Italian club AC Milan has expressed support for its supporters who are planning to boycott their team's next match against Udinese, protesting the rising prices of away match tickets. The cost of tickets for visiting fans has reached 65 euros (73 dollars). The club emphasized that excessive pricing harms league unity and undermines efforts to enhance the reputation of Italian football. It also threatens to widen the gap between clubs. Milan suggested implementing a maximum cap on the prices of away tickets across the league, similar to the English Premier League, which sets the maximum at 40 dollars. The club also threatened to reciprocate by increasing ticket prices for clubs that charge high rates, with the additional profits donated to community initiatives.
