Agreement files suit against Ego
Al-Ettifaq Club's management has entered into a legal dispute with the "Ego" group regarding financial dues related to the contract for the stadium naming rights. The company requested to terminate the partnership before the contract's expiration, while the club's administration insisted on fulfilling its contractual obligations, especially concerning the stadium naming, marketing, and advertising rights. Sources indicated that the club has met its commitments, whereas "Ego" is demanding the contract be annulled due to its claim of not benefiting from some of the advantages, which were offered through external parties. This followed the signing of a partnership in October 2024, which granted "Ego" the rights to name the stadium and other marketing benefits. The stadium was renamed "Ego Stadium" before the relationship was halted due to financial and legal disagreements.
