Al-Salami Expresses Shock and Disapproval
The coach of Al-Fateh Saudi team, Jamal Salama, expressed his shock at his team’s 1-3 loss to Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League, which resulted from numerous defensive mistakes and lapses in balance, leading to unacceptable goals. He indicated that the team lacked the ideal lineup and that the limited options on the bench made it more difficult to manage the match, especially after defender Ziyad Al-Jaray was quickly sent off following his substitution. He emphasized that the main flaw lies in the defensive aspect, and he will work on addressing it in the coming period. He also voiced his dissatisfaction with unacceptable behaviors, such as the defender receiving two yellow cards in a short span. The team’s points dropped to 6 after its fifth loss in the last six matches.
