Burguin's stance finalized late
German coach Jens Visning, the head coach of Al-Ittihad Saudi team, confirmed the decision to involve Dutch winger Steve Bergwijn in the Duraiah match in Week 11 of the Roshen Saudi League, after some hesitation due to an assessment of his readiness. Bergwijn underwent individual training in the gym and was excluded from team training to prevent fatigue, especially with the upcoming match against Neftchi Uzbekistan in the AFC Champions League. The final decision depends on a meeting between Visning and the players before the game, where Bergwijn's readiness to participate will be determined. It is worth noting that he played as a starter against Al-Ettifaq but was substituted in the 74th minute amid expectations to avoid risks due to the busy match schedule.
