Rodgers delays Qatar trip
Brendan Rodgers postponed Al Qadsiah’s trip to Qatar until Sunday evening. The team will hold its main training session that afternoon in Khobar to assess its technical and physical readiness and work on tactical plans before flying out on a private plane to avoid tiring the players. Al Qadsiah will face Qatar’s Al Gharafa on Monday at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite. Al Qadsiah sit seventh in the West Group, while Al Gharafa are bottom without a point.
