Coaches on win and errors
Italian coach Giovanni Solinas of Al-Faisaly said his team paid the price for complacency, defensive mistakes and a drop in fitness in the second half, after losing 4–1 to Al-Fayha in Round 12 of the Saudi Roshn League, despite having the better of the first half. He said Al-Fayha’s longer break—nine days—had affected the match. Al-Fayha coach Fabio Carille, meanwhile, said technical and mental preparation, studying the opposition, and maintaining a balance between defence and attack had contributed to the win.
