Gasperini warns of United
Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini said his team would not underestimate Manchester United despite their recent poor results, and would prepare for Tuesday’s Champions League match at Old Trafford as if they were facing United at their best. He highlighted the strength of the English side’s players and how difficult it is to play at their ground, while Roma will be without Lorenzo Pellegrini, Paulo Dybala and Manu Koné and have few midfield options. Gasperini rejected comparisons between Michael Carrick’s situation and his own brief spell at Inter Milan, explaining that he had managed the Italian club for just three matches and that every situation is different.
