Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi has announced the squad for the team’s two matches against Niger on November 13 and 17 in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The squad sees the return of Youssef En-Nesyri and Reda Belahyane, as well as the call-up of Ayoub Ouafkir, the 20-year-old AZ Alkmaar striker. Ouahbi said his selections were based on players’ fitness, their ability to add value and their adaptability to the system—not solely on how many minutes they play for their clubs. Morocco top Group A with six points, while Gabon and Niger have three each and Lesotho have none.
