Carrick eyes United reset
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick rejected comparisons between his start and Sir Alex Ferguson’s, stressing that the team must focus on the present and improve its results. United sit 17th with seven points after nine rounds, their worst start in Premier League history. Carrick described the 3–2 comeback win over Roma, after trailing by two goals, as an important moment to build on, but stressed that the team had achieved nothing yet as it prepares to host Aston Villa on Sunday.
