Saud Abdul Hamid, a player for the Saudi national football team and French club Lens, will arrive in Jeddah on Tuesday evening from Paris to join the national team’s camp in New York in preparation for the World Cup. He was absent from the trip with the squad due to having his car stolen in Amsterdam during his wedding ceremony, and coordination was made with the Saudi embassy to complete his travel documents. Abdul Hamid previously won the French Cup with Lens last Friday.
