Gomis stays with Al-Fateh for 3 million
The coach of Al-Fateh, Portuguese Jozé Gomes, has renewed his contract with the club for another season with an annual salary of 3 million dollars. He preferred to continue with the team over an offer from Al-Khaleej, which proposed a lower salary. Gomes led the team to stay in the league, finishing eleventh last season, after previously coaching Al-Ahli and Al-Taeon clubs. It is expected that the contract renewal procedures will accelerate in the coming days, as negotiations continue regarding the team’s budget for the upcoming season.
