Ebola concerns strain Congo-Chile ties
The friendly match between the Democratic Republic of Congo national team and Chile has been moved from Spain to France due to concerns over the spread of the Ebola virus, which has claimed the lives of dozens and led the World Health Organization to declare a global health emergency. Despite these concerns, the team is playing abroad and has prepared for the World Cup after canceling a domestic training camp and arranging preparations in Europe, where they will face Portugal, Colombia, and Uzbekistan in the 2026 World Cup.
