Iranian team wears pins for Minab attack victims
The Iranian national team's delegation arrived in Mexico to participate in the World Cup, wearing commemorative badges highlighting the victims of a missile attack on a school in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of children last February. The Iranian embassy pointed to these badges, which bear the number "168" for the number of martyrs, hinting at U.S. involvement in the attack, which was carried out at the beginning of the American-Israeli war against Tehran. The team's travel plans have fluctuated, as they used Mexico as a training base instead of the United States, and they are facing delays in visa issuance before their first match on June 15.
