The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that the disarmament of the Syrian Democratic Forces ("SDF") and their integration into Syrian state institutions represent an important development that supports Syria's sovereignty and unity. Ankara welcomed the steps related to this solution, considering them contributing to the country's stability. The ministry also confirmed that it is monitoring American efforts to establish a mechanism to prevent clashes, but has not yet received an official request regarding this matter. It will review any such request in coordination with relevant Turkish authorities. In a separate context, Ankara strongly criticized Israeli expansionist and aggressive policies in Syria and Lebanon, considering that these policies hinder the achievement of peace and stability. Turkey called on the international community to take action to counter Israel's threats to regional and international security.
