A necklace adorned with 673 diamonds, belonging to the former Queen Nazli of Egypt, was stolen from a jewelry exhibition at the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna during working hours. The thieves gained entry by smashing the display case and then fled the scene. The necklace, which had belonged to Queen Nazli and was auctioned in 2015 for approximately $4.3 million, was valued at that amount. The museum confirmed that the theft occurred during a jewelry exhibition and stated that an investigation is ongoing, with no injuries reported.
