The director of the General Company for Drinking Water in Damascus and its Countryside announced that the water rationing schedule for September will undergo a slight adjustment in pumping hours in some areas, without significant changes to the overall water supply program. He confirmed that the water situation in Damascus and its countryside is stable, supported by the abundant Fijeh Spring, which flows at approximately 1.6 cubic meters per second. This spring is the primary source of drinking water and directly influences the water quantities, pumping schedules, and rationing plans.
