An electronic attack carried out by the hacking group "Rhysida" revealed a leak of approximately 6 terabytes of sensitive data from the Berlin state administration, including nearly 1.44 million files. Among the leaked information are confidential details related to potential threat scenarios, including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards, as well as personal data of employees such as birth certificates, residential addresses, and phone numbers. Despite demands for a ransom of around two million euros and threats, the perpetrators refused to pay and ignored the threats. The leak occurred after the deadline had passed, leading to the data being published on the dark web, with file lists circulating on social media platforms. This poses a significant threat to national security and the safety of sensitive information.
