Syria News Agency reported that the U.S. President's envoy to Syria and Iraq, Tom Barrack, expressed his concern over the ongoing escalation in the Al-Suwayda Governorate and called on all parties to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue. He confirmed that the United States, along with other countries, signed a trilateral roadmap a year ago aimed at reintegrating the governorate into Syria in a manner that ensures the rights of the Druze community. He regarded dialogue as the only path to building stability. He also urged for the development of cooperation between the Druze, Arab tribes, and neighboring countries, emphasizing that a peaceful solution and communication are the ways to avoid further escalation, especially given the recent tensions in the governorate due to protests, clashes, and security unrest that have persisted for weeks.
