The owners of trailer manufacturing facilities protested in front of the Ministry of Industry in Damascus against the new conditions and procedures, which they claimed hinder their work and threaten the continued operation of many plants. The decisions included new requirements they described as "impossible," considering them to reduce the workshops' ability to work and to ignore the actual productive realities of the sector. The protesters also warned that implementing these conditions could lead to many facilities exiting the market and the activity being confined to a narrow scope. They called for reconsideration of the decision and for opening a dialogue with the facility owners to ensure the continuity of work and to strike a balance between regulating the profession and protecting workers' livelihoods.
