A total of 645 families from Tuweina Camp in Hasakah have returned to their original areas in Ras al-Ain after transportation was arranged and financial and in-kind aid was provided. This came after the villages were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, in an effort to accelerate the return of families before winter, especially from camps and shelter centers. This movement coincided with protests in the "Nourouz" and "Washuqani" camps due to the delay in including the names of families waiting to return.
