Syria took part in the 105th regular session of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media, which opened on Tuesday at the Arab League’s headquarters in Cairo, as part of a delegation from the Ministry of Information. Khaled al-Khalaf, director general of the Al-Wahda Press Foundation, said the participation opens up prospects for cooperation and the exchange of expertise, while strengthening the presence of Syrian media in Arab institutions. The committee discussed developing Arab media, supporting the Palestinian cause, coordinating efforts to address media challenges, and following up on joint action plans and programs.
