Homs Launches Heart Implant Campaign

The Homs Department of Health, in cooperation with Yad Bid Organization for Relief and Development, plans to launch the "Pulse of Life" campaign to support 18 patients in the city in need of pacemaker implantation. The procedures will be carried out at Ibn Al-Walid Hospital after the Eid al-Adha holiday, aiming to improve the patients' quality of life and reduce their financial and psychological burdens. Beneficiaries will be selected based on medical evaluations and decisions by a joint committee to ensure support reaches those most in need. Efforts continue to address the challenges posed by the rising number of patients compared to the available devices.
