Irrigation Starts at Tell Hosh Dam

The Water Resources Directorate in Homs, in cooperation with the Directorate in Tartous, began pumping irrigation water from Tell Housh Dam to supply 6,000 hectares of agricultural land with various crops. This step is part of efforts to support the current planting season and to secure the water needs of strategic crops, with fair distribution of water quotas and updates to irrigation networks to improve their efficiency. These measures aim to reduce crop drought and ensure the sustainability of water resources.
