Armed attack kills two ex-regime members in Hama

Two former members of the Assad regime forces were killed in an armed attack in the Hama countryside. Unknown assailants riding a motorcycle carried out an attack on a grocery shop in Kittloun village, resulting in their immediate deaths. The victims, Majd Hatim Al-Sha'er and Yamen Hussein Al-Sulaiman, had previously been associated with regime forces during the revolutionary years and are accused of committing abuses and murder crimes against Syrians. This incident follows the death of approximately 10 former members of the 25th Division in a similar attack while attempting to flee to Lebanon, amid a rise in revenge operations and targeted assaults against individuals previously involved with the regime.
