As-Suwayda Exam Resilience Amid Militia Sabotage

The events in Sweida Governorate revolve around Hajri militia’s obstruction of the public exam process. As a result, the government was forced to transfer exam centers to Damascus countryside to ensure students' right to education and protect them from security challenges. Despite efforts by the Ministry of Education, the United Nations, and international organizations to facilitate and make the exams accessible, clashes and political and security pressures have complicated the situation. Additionally, some local factions continue to refuse the entry of official delegations, and students face pressures and obstacles, leading to the adoption of an alternative plan to hold exam centers in Damascus to ensure the continuity of the educational process.
