UNICEF team inspects Al-Bukamal water plant
A delegation from UNICEF visited the massive Albukamal Water Station in Deir ez-Zor as part of preparations to rehabilitate it after it was damaged by bombing and looting during the years of conflict. The delegation affirmed that cooperation with the General Company for Drinking Water and Sewage includes preparing a comprehensive technical study aimed at restoring the station to full capacity, in order to provide clean and safe drinking water to the residents. This project is part of humanitarian efforts to improve water infrastructure in affected areas.
