Al-Qusayr residents mark displacement with event
The residents of Al-Qusayr and its community activities commemorated the anniversary of the city's occupation and the displacement of its inhabitants in 2013 through a popular sit-in and a cultural event at Sayyida Aisha Square and the Cultural Center. The event featured live testimonies and theatrical performances highlighting the residents' suffering during the displacement, while emphasizing the importance of documenting those events to promote justice and revive the spirit of resilience. This commemoration comes after the city's liberation, aiming to reaffirm the people's ability to overcome destruction and rebuild their city.
