Hydas Hamah boosts hydration with rehab and solar energy
The General Organization for Drinking Water and Wastewater in Homs Governorate has begun implementing rehabilitation and expansion projects to improve water supply in the eastern countryside of Homs. The goal is to ensure stable water provision at the start of summer and to meet the increased demand for water. The work includes installing solar energy systems, rehabilitating stations, and replacing pumping lines to provide sustainable water and enhance the efficiency of the networks in areas such as Um As-Sarj, Jeb Al-Jarrah, al-Qarayaten, and Tadmur. These measures aim to reduce the hardships faced by residents and to meet the heightened water needs during the summer season.
