Farm manager advocates stopping chicken breast imports
The Director-General of the Public Poultry Corporation confirmed that the decision to halt the import of feathered broilers, layer eggs, and feathered chicks aims to support local producers and strengthen breeders' confidence. There is also a focus on exporting eggs and their derivatives, achieving an excess in production due to increased investments and market growth. He emphasized the importance of price stability to protect consumers and breeders, while continuing to improve production efficiency and encourage investment in the poultry industry.
