Homs pushes to recover non-recyclable banknotes
The Homs City Council is working to secure non-recyclable manhole covers to reduce their loss, especially those made of fonset material, which are repeatedly stolen overnight. This theft incurs additional costs for the council and affects the efficiency of the sewage networks. The council is also promoting awareness among residents, conducting field visits to monitor issues, and planning to replace the current covers with safer alternatives, aiming to lessen financial burdens and improve public safety.
