Xiaomi is preparing to launch its foldable phone, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, which has appeared in the Chinese Communications Authority (MIIT) database. It is expected to feature a wider design, a 7.6-inch internal screen, an Xring O3 processor, a 200-megapixel main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery. Additionally, the global versions of the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max have received approval from the Thai Communications Authority, with expectations of similar specifications, except for a smaller battery in the global editions. The official announcement of these devices is anticipated soon, with the Redmi Note 17 expected to be launched in the Indian market in early August 2026, while the release date for the Fold 5 remains uncertain.
