Google Gboard updates with new interface
Google has launched a new update for the shortcut page design in the Gboard keyboard on Android phones and devices. The update is based on the expressive Material 3 design language. It includes enlarging the buttons and arranging them in a large oval shape that is easier to read and access. Additionally, there are changes to the scrolling and navigation methods between shortcuts, shifting from vertical to horizontal movement. New features have been added to customize tools through long-press and drag actions. Pinned shortcuts are now more clearly displayed without borders, and the back button has been replaced with a close (X) icon. The update is being gradually rolled out to users via Google servers through Gboard version 17.7, aiming to enhance user experience and make interacting with shortcuts easier.
