Samsung to introduce new user feature
Samsung is developing a new feature that allows users to independently adjust the screen zoom level for each app, rather than applying a single setting system-wide. Indicators of this feature appear within the system files of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which runs on One UI 9, and it is called "App Screen Zoom." The feature will enable users to enlarge the interfaces of specific applications, such as reading or messaging apps, separately from others, offering a more personalized experience—especially for users who find it difficult to read small text. This feature will not affect existing system-wide UI scaling adjustments and may require some apps to be restarted to apply the new settings. Although there are programming hints indicating this functionality, it is not currently available. It is expected to be activated in future updates, with the possibility of expanding support to include more Galaxy series devices.
