Google Chrome updates on Android

Google has begun testing a new design for the Chrome browser on Android and iPhone devices, rearranging interface controls to provide more space for the Gemini AI assistant. The new layout features two separate control bars: the upper one includes elements such as the address bar and a main button, while the lower one contains shortcuts for creating and managing tabs, along with a dedicated Gemini button. The update emphasizes more explicit integration of AI technologies, with the Gemini button becoming larger and more prominent in the navigation bar, reflecting Google's focus on enhancing the smart assistant's capabilities within the browser. Although the new interface makes certain tools more quickly accessible, it may also cause divided opinions among users due to the additional space occupied by the controls, especially when the button mode is activated at the bottom. It is expected that this update will gradually roll out to more users in the coming period.
