Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the Gaza plan approved by the "Peace Council," which includes disarming the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that Israel will not cease exerting control over the area until Hamas is fully disarmed. He confirmed that Israel will not withdraw from Gaza or the West Bank during his term in office, nor will it retreat from its current positions, despite a plan that proposes a partial withdrawal to the "Yellow Line" within Gaza and Hamas's agreement to disarm. The plan focused on implementing several phases, including a timeline and facilitating the reconstruction of the sector. However, Netanyahu clarified that Israel will not withdraw from its current locations until complete disarmament is achieved. This stance faces opposition from the government, the council, and plans for a gradual withdrawal in exchange for disarmament.
