YouTube trials new Android feature
YouTube is testing a new interface to improve navigation within videos on Android devices. It features a visual indicator that shows how much of the video has been skipped when using the double-tap quick forward feature. The change aims to make control more clear and user-friendly, especially when quickly jumping between different parts of the video. Currently, an experimental version is available to some users through the company's servers, with a possibility of it being accessible to everyone in the near future. This feature will help users better pinpoint their position within the video and enhance the viewing experience.
