Google unveils Gemini 4 AI after delay

Google announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence model called Argon within the Gemini 4 series, aiming to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic models and achieve strong performance in complex tasks such as programming and cybersecurity. The model has demonstrated advanced results compared to Astra and Opus in some performance metrics, but still lags behind in others, and no release date for the public has been announced yet. Additionally, Google reported a slowdown in releasing new models following delays in launching previous ones, with the company's recent strategy focusing on cost efficiency compared to competitors, in an effort to regain its position in the AI development race.
