Google Phone app recovers a lost feature
Google has restored the Contacts tab to the bottom bar in the Google Phone app, after removing it in a previous update in 2025 and replacing it with a side menu. This change aims to make it quicker to access contacts, especially since the app is used for managing names, searching for people, and making calls. The company has begun rolling out the update gradually within the app's beta version, with a wider release expected once testing is complete. This reflects Google's responsiveness to user feedback to improve the user experience and make it more practical and easy to use.
