WhatsApp tests new privacy feature
WhatsApp has launched a new feature called Restricted Chat, which allows users to limit their individual conversations to enhance privacy and prevent unwanted access or sharing of content. The feature includes restrictions on saving photos and videos, exporting conversations, and disabling AI features within the chat, making them accessible only on the user's primary device and preventing them from appearing on WhatsApp Web or other linked devices. Currently, the feature is in gradual testing within the beta version on Android, specifically through version 2.26.39.11, and an official release date to the general public has not yet been announced.
