One UI 9.5 Features and Release
Samsung is preparing to launch the beta version of its new One UI 9.5 interface, based on Android 17. Indicators within the Samsung Members app suggest that testing on Galaxy phones is imminent. The testing is expected to begin before the end of 2026, although the company has not officially announced the program's release date. One UI 9.5 features include improvements in customizing widgets, a new app lock with fingerprint or passcode, enhanced functionality for displaying apps on Galaxy Book devices, and support for Google satellite connectivity. The update primarily targets Galaxy S26 phones, with a stable release anticipated for the S27 series in early 2027.
